Welcome to an evening of poetry, song and music with Mela's own raga ensemble RagaNor.
RagaNor is a Norwegian raga band that was formed in 2016 and consists of 7 inspiring artists. RagaNor presents a fresh and rich heritage of South Asian music in Norway. Among their many appearances, the band has played a central role and performed at Melafestivalen both in 2020 and 2021.
This evening they offer Sufi songs, qawwali, ghazal and poetry from Southeast Asia. It will be a romantic and unforgettable evening with lots of atmosphere and energy.
