The anniversary conference: Half way to a hundred - half way to the goal?

Kvinnefronten was founded in 1972 and is Norway's oldest radical feminist organisation. On 17 September we mark the 50th anniversary in Oslo. Join us in celebrating the Women's Front, you too!

At the anniversary conference, we will highlight the historic women's struggles that have been won, while at the same time we will create awareness of the many women's struggles that still remain. We will hear historical introductions about the abortion fight, men's violence against women and birth and maternity care. There will be panel discussions about the relevance of the women's struggle today and diverse women's struggles. Kajsa Balto and the Maria Orieta Band are coming to play for us, and we offer free lunch. Check out the program below!

There will also be an exciting exhibition in the room with posters, photos and banners from 50 years of fighting for full women's liberation.

The conference is free and open to everyone. Registration is not necessary. The conference will also be streamed, so that those of you who do not have the opportunity to participate physically can participate digitally. Melahuset is accessible to wheelchair users. Welcome!
