Stockholm Sangeet invites you to the first musical meeting between three outstanding musicians from three different countries and with three different approaches to South Asian classical music, but who share a passion for the music, solid craftsmanship and the ability to indulge in moments of improvisation.
What role does migration play in the way we live our lives today? In collaboration with the Peace Research Institute Oslo (PRIO), we are showing two short animated films, one from Karachi and one from Mumbai, that address social mobility and migration. The films are based on PRIO's own research and illustrated by local artists.
At Oslo Culture Night we invite you to a concert with one of the most important artists Oslo has to offer: percussionist Sidiki Camara ✨ This evening he brings along his fellow musicians in the Sidiki Camara Group, Bendik Hofseth, Jacob Young and Audun Erlien, in addition to Sarah Camille, Eirik Askerøi and dancer Shirley Mado.
