Ever since Shashank Subramanyam began performing in public at the age of six, he has amazed audiences with his flute playing, which is characterized by intricate improvisations, melodic compositions and vibrant, varied rhythms. He has performed in over 50 countries and has collaborated with bands, orchestras and musicians across various genres. He was nominated for a Grammy in 2009 and has received the French Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres in 2022, the Sangeet Natak Akademi awards in 2017 and in 2001 he was honored with Tamil Nadu's Kalaimamani Award for his innovative flute playing, which is celebrated worldwide.

Parupalli Subbaraya Phalgun is a mridangam master known for his rhythmic dexterity and knowledge of Carnatic music. Coming from a family of musicians, he has taught thousands of students, toured over 20 countries and has been honoured with both the national All India Radio award and the Sangeet Natak Academy's Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar award.
