Accessibility
Melahuset and Melafestivalen are part of the project "Accessibility of Culture Norway", and focus on being inclusive and accessible to everyone.
Melahuset
Melahuset has easy access and good accessibility. HC toilet available. The Melahuset is located in Mariboes gate 8. There is one HC car park outside the entrance. Taxis can stop right outside the entrance.
Public transport:
Melahuset Located in close proximity to tram, subway, train and bus stops.
Train: nearest stop is Oslo Central Station (10 min away Melahuset).
Subway: nearest stop is Jernbanetorget, Grønland or Stortinget.
Bus, tram: the nearest stop is Storgata.
Companion certificate:
There is free access to the Melahuset's own events and thus no need for an accompanying certificate for these.
If you need an accompanying certificate for an event with ticket sales (external organizer), send an e-mail to huset@mela.no and we will be happy to assist with arrangements and information.
Interpretation service / teleloop:
Melahuset does not offer interpretation services or hearing loops.

Emergency exits in our halls are marked according to regulations.

Melafestivalen
The festival is organized at Rådhusplassen (the Town Hall Square). HC toilet right outside the festival area on Rådhuskaia. There is HC parking at Rådhuset Oslo, in Tordenskioldsgate and in Rosenkrantzgate. The taxi stop is at Aker Brygge.
Venues:
The main stage at Rådhusplassen: Easy arrival and good accessibility.
Nobel Peace Center: Wheelchair accessible.
Public transport:
Melafestivalen is close to stops for both tram, metro, train and bus.
Train: nearest stop is the National Theater.
Metro: the nearest stop is the National Theater or the Storting.
Bus, tram: the nearest stops are Aker Brygge and the National Theater.
