Oslo Culture Night: All Hail the Queen: Orange Cake

All Hail The Queen is a monthly concept that presents female hip-hop and r&b artists in Norway, and at Oslo Culture Night there will be a concert with Orangekake.

In 2023, Orangekake decided to quit her job as an educational manager to focus entirely on her career as an artist and songwriter, with great success. Not only can she look back on successful concert performances at Musikkfest and the Rock the Mic, Isje din Bitsj and New Skool Festival festivals in the Netherlands, she has also managed to get her debut single played on P3, been listed on TIDAL's own playlists and taken a year at LIMPI in Lillehammer. Last year, she also released the EP "Ceeb", which means shame, in which she explored the collective experiences of shame through five self-composed and personal songs. In her latest musical projects, she goes even deeper into the exploration of her African roots and Afro-based music.
