Launch of Samora Forum no. 3/2022

Samora Forum is out with a theme issue that shows how Latin Americans find their way to democracy based on self-produced knowledge, their own stories, needs and traumas.

Norway has increased its presence in Latin America through various programs and agreements. You often hear about what Norway is doing in Latin America, but how much do Norwegians hear about what is happening in Latin America?

The world is witnessing major political and social changes in Latin America, for better or for worse. Some of these changes are sources of inspiration, others, warnings. As a former European colony, the quest for democracy in Latin America has been characterized by a colonialist mindset.

Where is Latin America going? And who are the players paving the way for new times in the region? Samora Forum invites you to a debate with some of the writers in the last Samora Forum, led by Ingrid Fadnes, who is a journalist in Klassekampen and a long-standing contributor to Samora Forum.
