Makossiri is a DJ and producer from Kenya, based in Kampala, Uganda. Her first EP "Juicy Juicy" is out on the label Hakuna Kulala, Nyege Nyege Tapes' more urban little brother. Her music conveys everything from hard techno, psy-trance to Egyptian mahraganat and traditional and electronic East African music.

Love Pump, also known as Liliana Palanca, was born in Portugal to Angolan parents and lives in Bergen. She is inspired by sweaty club nights from Lisbon and Luanda. She plays rhythmic music from Africa and the diaspora: from Kizomba to Kuduro and baile funk, afrobeats, amapiano and bass-heavy hybrids of these.
