The dance floor will be filled with soulful rhythms, energetic music and unforgettable vibes this Saturday night.
With the combination of soulful Swahili vibes and heavy dub-reggae beats, singer, songwriter and activist Binti Afrika , also known as the Queen of Swahili Dub, has created a unique sound that spreads joy and good energy.
Binti Afrika began her musical career in 1999 as part of the group Kreative Mynds and in 2016 she introduced the Swahili Dub sound in collaboration with Scottish label Mungo's Hi Fi. This led to her first international tour and the album "Sauti Inawika", and since then she has convinced with her energetic performances and lyrics that address themes such as resilience, identity and justice. These are also the messages Binti Afrika uses in her role as a social activist, and outside the studio she actively uses her voice to inspire and assist young women through the Lioness Order movement.
