– Ecstatic percussions and irresistible grooves
Groundbreaking rhythms and sounds that move between analog and digital create an atmosphere and experience you've rarely seen before.
From hypnotic polyrhythms, acoustic and electronic percussion, dizzying shouts and synthetic drones – Arsenal Mikebe ’s music is instantly ingrained in the ear canals and takes a long time to let go. The trio consists of phenomenal drummers Ssentongo Moses, Dratele Epiphany and Luyambi Vicent; all part of the Nyege Nyege collective, and as a trio they merge into a common unit when playing on one and the same homemade drum kit. The result is a sound reminiscent of a kind of analog techno, where the rhythms turn into metallic labyrinths that together develop into a fierce trance – for both musicians and audience.
For almost a decade , Nora Pagu has been making her mark on the club scene with her playful and diverse mix of genres. She is also one of the three founders of Rust Radio and part of NARA – a collective of creative women who are helping to shape the Norwegian music scene.
