Forward-looking and energetic club music

London-based producer Mina first met Ghanaian vocalist Bryte in Accra, Ghana in 2017. The two immediately hit it off through their shared love of global club music.

Eight years later, the duo can look back on several single releases, the 2021 EP "Abeka Bugatti", and a well-established reputation for an infectious energy and innovative sound that has had people dancing at everything from Berghain, Nyege Nyege, Glastonbury and Primavera, to the Village Underground and The Jazz Café in London.

Established names like Lauren Laverne, Ben UFO, Tom Ravenscroft and Branko have also caught the eye of the duo's irresistible sound, which fuses the best of the UK, Ghana and the world in general. Bryte's multilingual lyrics play with Mina, and among others Gafacci's distinct productions, creating forward-thinking club music that moves between continents.

Bafana Nhlapo, Solo Diarra and Sankung Jobarteh are among the top African musicians in Norway, but represent different musical traditions. Percussionist and singer Bafana Nhlapo comes from Soweto in South Africa and has made a name for himself with his unique falsetto voice and his unconventional combination of instruments. Solo Diarra comes from a griot family in West Africa and both sings and plays djembe, kora, ngoni, balafon and guitar, while Sankung Jobarteh is a leading performer of the modern Gambian music genre Afro-Manding. On stage this evening they will also perform together with the Gambian guitar virtuoso Sankung Jobarteh and the eminent musicians Yacouba Kona, Issouf Dembele and Bara Coulibaly from Burkina Faso.

Antony Mburu is known for his playful and curious approach to music. He is constantly on the lookout for hidden gems – whether it’s old house and techno treasures from Chicago and Detroit, rave classics or newer Afro genres like gqom and amapiano. With a genuine interest in music and a penchant for the unexpected, his sets always offer something fresh, energetic and personal .
