This year you can experience Fareed Ayaz, Abu Muhammad Qawwal & Brothers both on the main stage, and get a more intimate concert experience at MelaKlassisk. The group is led by Fareed Ayaz, together with his younger brother Abu Muhammed, while other brothers and family members make up the rest of the musical core. In familiar qawwali style, the music is performed by powerful vocalists, who go through several verse-chorus sequences supported by other singers, as well as harmonium, tabla, dholak and clapping.
