Last summer, "Piya Piya Calling" became the definitive music talk of the summer. The song was released by Karpe in collaboration with Coke Studio Pakistan, Amanda Delara, The Quick Style and Kaifi Khalil. Now the latter is ready for his first visit to Norway and it will of course take place at Oslo Mela.

Singer and songwriter Kaifi Khalil grew up in Karachi, but his family originally hails from the Balochistan region. He inherited his passion for music from his father, who was a musician himself. Khalil's career began like many others - via YouTube, where he uploaded both his own songs and cover songs. In 2022, he was discovered by Coke Studio producer Zulfiqar "Xulfi" Jabbar Khan, and the rest can be described as a success story that includes millions of fans and an international career.

Kaifi Khalil has made a special mark by combining the traditional music of Baluchistan with irresistible R&B and pop rhythms, which is guaranteed to create a good atmosphere at Rådhusplassen.
