Angélique Kidjo made her debut in 1981 and has since established herself as one of the world's greatest artists and become a symbol of musical creativity and influence. The music is a mix of West African music traditions from Benin with R&B, funk and jazz. During her career, she has collaborated with everything from Peter Gabriel to Burna Boy, won four Grammy Awards and been named one of the 100 most inspiring women in the world by both The Guardian and Time Magazine.

She played on Melafestivalen in 2015 and this time she has both songs from last year's critically acclaimed "Mother Nature" and from her impressive musical archive.
