How is childhood shaped under occupation, apartheid and systematic oppression?
On April 16, Psychologists Against Genocide invites Gwyn Daniel, psychotherapist affiliated with the Palestine Trauma Centre, Peter McGovern, psychiatrist with experience in psychological work with children in Palestine, and Emad Al-Rozzi, occupational therapist, with extensive experience in psychosocial work with children in Gaza, to a panel discussion.
The conversation will touch on topics such as children's lives under occupation and apartheid, power relations, psychosocial consequences for children and families, as well as children's own voices and experiences.
In addition, Guri Vindegg from Quaker Aid will give a presentation about the AMAL project, which provides support to children and families in Palestine.
