With music written by Armenian-American composer John Hodian and based on the sacred texts of the medieval Armenian mystic, poet, and priest Mkritch Nagash, the ensemble has been described as “the sound of ancient Armenia reinvented for the 21st century” by Armenian composer Tigran Mansurian.

The ensemble, which consists of three vocalists and some of Armenia's foremost musicians on dudk, oud, dhol and piano, has toured throughout Europe for the past ten years, impressing audiences and critics with their beautiful, spiritual and poetic music.

On stage:

Hasmik Baghdasaryan – soprano

Tatevik Movsesyan – soprano

Shahane Zalyan – alto

Tigran Hovhannisyan – dhol

Aram Nikoghosyan – oud

Harutyun Chkolyan – duduk

John Hodian – piano/composer
