A concert in the classical Carnatic tradition where Ayushi Sowmya Ramachandran, Sneha Sunthar and Tuja Thulasy Manoharan pay tribute to female artists around the world.

Dr. Ayushi Sowmya Ramachandran is a Veena artiste from Coimbatore, India. She has a PhD in biosciences and works at the university of Oslo. She fell in love with her instrument at age 3 and began her formal training under the guidance of Guru Smt. Seetha Balakrishnan from the age of 8. She has won numerous titles and awards including the Tamil Nadu Government's arts and literature award for best instrumentalist and the Yuva Kala Bharathi music achievement award. After a 10 year separation from her instrument due to education, she is now happily reunited with her beloved veena in Oslo and where she teaches music and is a member of the music group - Isai with Imir. 

Sneha Sunthar works as a nurse, but spends every spare moment on music. She is the daughter of Sunthar Kanesan and has played mirthangam since she was little and has gradually started learning ghatam, an instrument known for having too few female players. She also plays keyboards, guitar, bass and drums, and plays in the group Isai with Imir with Ayushi. 

Tuja Thulasy Manoharan is a Carnatic vocalist based in Oslo. She received her early musical training from her mother and completed her Post Diploma from an international examination institute at the age of 13. She has performed on stages in Oslo from a young age and currently works as a performer and teacher to further Carnatic music through Sruthyswaralaya and a local cultural school.
