Can we talk about peace?

Rødt Oslo Solidaritetslag invites Linn Stalsberg, author of the book "Krig er forakt for liv - et essay om fred", to a lecture and discussion.
In a world where rearmament and war rhetoric have become the norm, where a united Storting has agreed to massively increased defense spending and ever-increasing tension between the military powers, we lack the voices for peace. Stalsberg's contribution to the social debate offers perspectives that are missed by many at a time when raising the cause of peace is a rarity.
There will also be two short presentations by Geir Jørgensen, Member of Parliament for Rødt, and Sofia Rana, Member of the City Council. The lectures and presentations will be followed by a plenary discussion.
The event takes place on the second floor of Melahuset, above the café.
