On the occasion of the UN International Mother Language Day on February 21st, we invite you to a multilingual poetry evening where different poets perform poetry in their own mother tongue. Here you will experience how feelings, stories and experiences are expressed through different languages, rhythms and voices. You don't have to understand all the words to be touched, the poetry also lives in the sound, rhythm and presence.
The event is open to everyone, whether you love poetry, are curious about languages, or just want a meaningful cultural experience. Welcome!
Confirmed poets:
Masood Munawar (Punjabi)
Aftab Warriach (Urdu)
Mitra Assi (Persian)
Aqeel Hatam (Arabic)
Organizer: Halqa Arbab e Zauq Norway in collaboration with Melahuset
