Adrian Younge has collaborated with artists such as Ghostface Killah, Kendrick Lamar, Roy Ayers, Azymuth, Tony Allen and Lonnie Liston Smith. In addition to the company Jazz Is Dead, he also runs the record label Linear Labs, and has released both film scores and solo albums throughout a long career that unites everything from soul, funk and hip-hop to cinematic jazz.
To Melahuset Adrian Younge returns with his latest album Younge and his new five-piece live ensemble, guaranteeing us a concert that blurs the lines between cosmic soul, hypnotic jazz and psychedelics. This will be an immersive experience driven by raw drum breaks, fuzz guitar, rare analog synthesizers and atmospheric vocals.
Led by Younge and soul singer Loren Oden and featuring music from across Younge's catalog, including his new album Younge , the ensemble moves as a single organism, fusing improvisation and progressive jazz into a dark, cinematically immersive set—a hallucinatory experience where cosmic soul expands, collides, and draws the audience deep into a shared nocturnal dream.

Support this evening will be Norsk SP-Forum. The group has earned a name and reputation through making beats on hardware-based samplers. The music is a mix of samples and compositions from all possible genres and falls somewhere within the hip-hop/trip-hop/boombap/lofi/LA-beat scene.
The Forum is best known for its live performances where up to six artists play live beats back to back from their SP-404 samplers with frequent transitions and mixed styles. The Forum has countless gigs behind it, and has played at Hip-Hop på Månen, composed and set live music for silent films live, opened for Mobb Deep, Masta Ace & Marco Polo, Looptroop Rockers, Tommy Tee/TP Allstars 25th anniversary and Gouldian Finch, as well as done live shows with the Turntablist group Oslo Flow and various rappers.
The members consist of Jøgge, Beggs n Acon, Clark Flavour, Vesle, SUMTN and LAX22. The forum has released four compilation albums digitally and physically on vinyl/cassette with guests such as Ken Ring, Zeps, Pats Nichols, Kristoffer Eikrem, JNS and DJ Chali.
