Anzee
Anzee is a singer and melodic rapper from Lier, who challenges the genre boundaries within Norwegian hip hop and R&B and who follows in the footsteps of artists such as FKA twigs, 070 Shake and Bktherula. She attracts attention with her honest lyrics and is deservedly praised for her playful and hard-hitting approach to music, and her musical expression challenges social norms and systems and gives room for both reflection and criticism.
Her first two singles, "I Mitt Basseng" and "Knirker i Maskineriet", were released in 2023 and brought her attention on NRK P3 via Uhørt. In 2024, her debut EP "Et Dop og en Drøm" was released and she has also convinced audiences with her energetic live performances at Klubbøya, Kulturhuset and Dattera til Hagen, among others.
amaida.
amaida. is an Oslo-based Cameroonian-Norwegian artist, with a musical expression that soulfully balances between the raw and the vulnerable. Through her music, she creates a sanctuary for overthinking and highly sensitive souls, offering a safe space to feel, reflect and heal. With the help of heartfelt melodies and lyrics, she thematizes the complexity of being human, inviting listeners to embrace their emotions and vulnerability and use music to find comfort and unity.
The debut single "the dark side of the moon" was described by Pulsmagasinet as "a debut that smells like stardust", and was recommended on NRK P3 Urørt. In October she will play her first solo concert and in November she will perform at Vill Vill Vest, but first out is All Hail the Queen on Melahuset .
Emily Iversen
Emilie Iversen is an artist and songwriter who creates music characterized by the melancholy of jazz and the energetic elements of pop. The result is a unique universe at the intersection of acoustic and electronic, where the songs grow through soaring soundscapes and powerful, dynamic highlights. Through honest and vulnerable lyrics, Emilie invites listeners to explore emotions and experiences that many can identify with.
All Hail The Queen is a monthly concept on Melahuset where we present female hip hop and r&b artists.
